Jo-Ann Murray
Centre Manager

I am proud to be the Centre Manager of Chelsea House Early Childhood Centre. I have been with Chelsea House on the Kapiti Coast since it opened in 2000 and am a registered early childhood teacher.

I am passionate about the value of quality early childhood education and am proud to be associated with a centre that prides itself on creating a stimulating, nurturing, respectful environment for the child, teachers and families.

My husband and I have lived in Kapiti for the last 35 years and have six adult children and eight beautiful grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, cake decorating, reading, pottering in my garden and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

I look forward to meeting you and your families and getting to know you throughout your time at Chelsea House.

Julia Mildenhall

Kia Ora, my name is Julia. I hold a bachelor of teaching and have been involved in the teaching profession for the past 16 years. I have worked at Chelsea House Raumati for the past 14 years and have enjoyed my time getting to know the children and families at the centre. I have spent most of my time at the centre working with the two year old children and find providing child care and education experiences for children of this age very rewarding. I enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and providing a stimulating and fun learning environment.

I have lived on the Kapiti Coast for the last 22 years with my husband. We have three adult daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. Outside of work I enjoy spending time and having lots of fun with my children and grandchildren, reading and watching movies.

Under 2 years of age is my teaching passion and I really love watching all of the learning and development that happens at this stage in a child’s life.

I live in Raumati Beach with my husband and our two beautiful girls.

In my spare time I love Photography, watching and playing football and spending time with my family.

I am so happy to be back working at Chelsea House on the beautiful Kapiti Coast and I am really looking forward to my new role here and getting to know all of the children and families.
